Reducing Stress in A Chaotic World

I visit with people every day that have overwhelming amounts of stress in their lives. In light of recent events with the economy, crime rates on the rise, and such uncertainty in the world, it’s no wonder that we have as much stress as we do. There are approaches to neutralizing the stress we feel every day, such as better organization and time management; however, the first step is to defuse the reaction occurring in the body.

How Do We Get Through This?

Today I was standing in line at the BiLo (our local grocery store) and in front of me were two women who obviously knew each other and were catching up. It was a typical conversation for two people who had not seen each other in some time. In time, the conversation turned to the events of the day, as it usually does. They were expressing their concerns for the economy, the differences between the housing market now and a generation ago, the rise in crime and the desperation of a society living with no jobs.
