New Hours for PTSD Clinic

Managing Reactions PTSD Workshop and Clinic have changed their clinic hours. The Orientation Workshop will now be held the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month starting at 8:00 AM. The PTSD Clinic will  be held every Saturday morning at 9:00 AM.

Orientation will include education of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: the causes, symptoms,and effects. We will explore the various  treatment options available to those living with PTSD and their families. We will explain the benefits of acupuncture and Neurotherapy Training. The PTSD Clinic will be a safe environment where we will offer a unique non-chemical approach to the treatment of PTSD. Managing Reactions is here to offer support without judgment.

Reducing Stress in A Chaotic World

I visit with people every day that have overwhelming amounts of stress in their lives. In light of recent events with the economy, crime rates on the rise, and such uncertainty in the world, it’s no wonder that we have as much stress as we do. There are approaches to neutralizing the stress we feel every day, such as better organization and time management; however, the first step is to defuse the reaction occurring in the body.

Overcoming Holiday and Winter Blahs

With December here and life becoming hectic and joyous for most, there are those who are feeling an abundance of sadness and loneliness. Depression can be debilitating and uncomfortable for the one experiencing it, but it can also have an impact on family members, friends, co-workers, and others.  The stress some feel on a daily basis can be extremely overwhelming and detrimental. It’s important to know what depression is and how it can affect you and those you love.
